No matter where you are in the world, wealth means the same thing but there are different levels of wealth. The amount of money needed to be wealthy changes based on someone's geographical location because of a number of factors. Taxes, cost of living, average income, and other elements create a blueprint to label wealth within set parameters. Michigan has its own scale of wealth and here are the ten people who land at the top of the list.

This may shock some of you reading this but there are billionaires, yes billionaires living within the Mitten state. They stretch across all kinds of professional endeavors including entertainment, business, sports, finance, real estate, and more. As always, most of them live or are from the East side of the state but there are a few from other regions of the Mitten that made a name for themselves.

Money Inc says they are inspired by the Forbes list that comes out every year letting us know who the wealthiest people in the entire world are, but they never do the dirty work to help us out locally.
