Golfing is a sport and past time that has continued to gain popularity over the years. Names like Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Jack Nicklaus, Phil Mickelson, John Daly, and others have turned the game into a household sport. Now we see kids entering the game at a younger age and more interested in the sport than ever before.

Since the opening of TopGolf, the golfing world has taken a massive surge forward and people are finding multiple ways to interact with the game of golf. They even have interactive virtual golfing games that allow you to hit a golf ball into a screen and it'll show you how far it would go on a real course. Those experiences are cool, but nothing like what is coming to Detroit soon.

The Detroit Tigers have partnered with Upper Deck Golf to create a unique experience for golf and baseball fans. After the baseball season is over, Comerica Park will go through a cosmetic change. There will be artificial customs greens placed down on the field and tee boxes set up throughout the upper deck of the stadium.

The event will take place on 3 consecutive days in the fall but the dates are to be determined depending on how well the Tigers play for the rest of the season. Either way, tee times will be available from 7 am and the last available time will be 9 pm with booking required in advance.

All the tee times will be limited and there will be VIP tee times available as well. The VIP tee times come with free food and beverages along with free entry into driving, chipping, and putting challenges throughout the park. There is a chance to apply for early access to sign up for tee times here.

In addition to all of the golf activities happening within the stadium, there will be live music, food, and beverage specials to provide other entertainment to golfers. Guests are encouraged to bring their own clubs but if they don't have any, there will be standard clubs at each tee box, but take notice that no drivers or fairway metals will be allowed.
