Detroit Lions Dan Campbell For Coach Of The Year?

If you were to have told Lions fans that they would be 6-2 coming out of their bye week and had some of the highest graded and performing players in the league, half of them would believe you and the other half would say that you're out of your mind because the Lions haven't been that good since the 90s. The crazy part is, I wouldn't have told either Lions fan that they were wrong because this year had so many questions marks coming in.

Well, I'm here to tell you that every single one of those questions has been answered so far. The Detroit Lions have continued the success they had in the latter half of last season and are the number 2 seed in the NFC so far. A lot of this is due to their gracious leader, Dan Campbell, who has come and turned the program around. He is fighting hard, watching his team fight just as hard, and now they are being rewarded for such through wins and award consideration.

All season there are conversations and betting lines placed out about the different awards that are handed out during the NFL season. There aren't too many awards that the Lions are leading the category in (which I think is crazy) but there is 1 award that the Lions have been at the top of the leaderboard all season. That would be the Coach of the Year award.

Since the early weeks of the season, the Detroit Lions have been a hot topic, rising in power rankings, and getting respect from the widespread media. As the Lions continue to dazzle on the field, the sportsbooks in Vegas are taking notes.
