Gift Sends Detroit Mother Bursting Into Tears of Joy
We all envision giving our parents the world, especially our mothers for all of the sacrifices they make throughout their lives for us. One of the most special days of the year is the one that's dedicated to all other superhero women who have birthed a child into the world, Mother's Day. Everyone shows gratitude to their mother because without them life just wouldn't be the same.
Some Mothers don't always get to enjoy their day because they are too busy making a living for their families. It's hard to take a day off or not buy something for yourself so your kids can have something, that takes a toll on someone in many different ways. For the most part, those mothers are awarded eventually, just like this Detroit mother was.
This past weekend was Mother's Day and as many people went out to dinners, had family over, bought gifts, or even went to events, others were working. Some of those individuals who were working we mother themselves and couldn't fully enjoy their day, including Edge.

In the video above you got a chance to meet Edge, a Traffic Control Officer in Detroit Michigan, and watch her breakdown into tears of joy and thankfulness as she was presented a Mother's Day gift by a stranger. The TikTok posted by a user (@mdmotivator) shows him approaching Edge and asking her to buy a random Detroit Tigers jersey for a dollar.
She accepts and then he offers to take her to the Tigers game to which she responds that she's working and wouldn't be able to get off early. In fact, her lieutenant was right across the way. The man would go over and ask for her to be let off early and then takes her to the Tigers game and give her $500.
She later explains how she was pinching pennies and shuffling things around to make life work at the moment and the money was a well-needed blessing at the time. There's nothing like watching those who deserve the best things in life be blessed in astronomical ways.
