GoPuff Says Go Fish To Kalamazoo
GoPuff is a mobile app that allows you to order delivery services to your location. Now, these delivery services were for snacks and other items that could be purchased from a convivence store. From all kinds of snacks and drinks to household items and medicine, if they had it you could buy it.
This worked similarly to how DoorDash and Postmates work, where you order through the app and then they find a driver to pick up and deliver the order to your location. Well, DoorDash decided to add an "add a stop" button to their app, allowing for drivers to pick up a convivence store order after collecting your food and dropping both orders off together. This has caused some trouble with GoPuff in the Kalamazoo area.
A post on Reddit shows an email that explains how GoPuff services would change in the Kalamazoo area. The Reddit post shows the user (JoeMaring) a Kalamazoo resident, explaining a screenshot of his email that says GoPuff is no longer servicing the Kalamazoo area starting on January 28th because their coverage map changed.
Fam Members who live in the Kalamazoo area, which was a membership used by GoPuff for rewards and cheaper delivery costs, were given a refund for the charges that were made to their account for February membership that should appear in their account in 3-5 business days.
Residents Respond
Many other GoPuff-using residents decided to get in on the conversation about the mobile app leaving the geographical area, and most of them were not happy with the decision. They showed their disappointment with the following comments:
"D**n. I used them. I thought they were fairly priced." (Delicious-Humor-2019)
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOO, literally my favorite" (RefrigeratedTP)
"This stinks! I had a lot of puff points saved up too" (JebediahSlugman2)
"Omg nooo! Wonder what happened. Not lucrative enough maybe?(AdGroundbreaking4881)
At the end of the day, you either have to go to the convivence store yourself or use that "add a stop" button on DoorDash since GoPuff is no longer serving Kalamazoo.
