Michigan is one of two states that can brag about the amount of lake space they have to offer their residents and visitors; the other state is Minnesota. The great lakes are the among the pinnacle of lakes in the United States as Lake Tahoe is the only other that comes to mind, but the inland lakes have something to say as well.

The small lake town in Michigan also has a 20-mile Tunnel of Trees along the M-119 highway that is accompanied by forests of birch, maple, and cedar can be embraced by leafy canopies making for an exciting drive to the lake front.
