Harvest Festival Coming To Downtown Kalamazoo
No matter what you call this time of year whether it be Autumn, Fall, Spooky Season, Harvest, or anything else, it's one of the most exciting times of the year. The foliage is changing colors every single day as the leaves begin to fall, the apple cider and pumpkin spice are flowing, and the temperature have dropped to comfortable sweater season weather.
it doesn't matter what name you choose to call this season, the idea is celebrating and acknowledging the end of the growth season. For some organisms this means dying off for the winter but for others, it means being harvested and entering the next part of their lifecycle. Enjoying the fruits of the labor and harvest is something that has been celebrated for years, this year, the harvest festival returns again.
Kalamazoo will be celebrating the harvest and the fall season in the beginning of October as the Harvest Festival will be on Friday October 4th. The Harvest festival will be at the Arcadia Creek Festival Place in Downtown Kalamazoo from 6pm to 10pm and will be hosted by the Kalamazoo Food Truck Rally.
The Kalamazoo Harvest Festival will have food trucks, live music, adult beverages, vendor booths from downtown Kalamazoo shops, fall crafters, paint a pumpkin craft, and more for everyone to enjoy. This is a part of the Festival Friday's series and will be the official kick off of the Skeletour Spooktacular season in Kalamazoo.
