25 Year Old Indiana Pizza Man Saves 3 Teens & 2 Kids From Fire
Everyone has a different opinion of what is brave and what isn't, but most people can say that risking your life to save someone else's life is one of the bravest things that someone can do. We all know that we have a fight or flight instinctual response that we can't control that normally takes over our body. Those who spring into action and fight in troubling times are often heralded as heroes.
Often times when someone is working, they aren't thinking about all of the ways that their day can be affected while on the clock. You can go from having the most of normal days to one of the craziest, if not the craziest, days of your life. You could see or experience a plethora of different situations while on the job, especially those who travel for their jobs. I'm sure this pizza delivery guy in Indiana wasn't expecting to be running into a burning house instead of delivering a pizza.
Mr. Bostic says he did not have his phone with him and could not call 911 so he ran to the backdoor and headed upstairs before getting some of the youngsters out. When they told him that the six-year-old was still inside, he headed back into the blaze and despite thick smoke found her.
He then punched out a window so they could escape to safety, Bostic was hospitalized for severe smoke inhalation and a serious cut to his arm, police said. He has now been discharged. The children’s parents, David and Tiera Barrett, had been out on a date night and returned to find emergency vehicles outside their home and were told about the heroic actions of Bostic.
