We all love a good field storming, and it's always fun to watch security chase after the person. Occasionally, we get an epic fullback-style tackle, and maybe even rarer might be the when the perpetrator gets tased. In the end, we all know they get taken off and put in "stadium jail" and are usually charged with some minor crime and fined.

But what happens when it's kids, or children who storm the field? Are we as accepting of the outcome that we would be if some drunken adult idiot did it? Tell us what you think about this, when two children stormed the field at Comerica, and were taken off in HANDCUFFS!

During the Tigers' game Friday night against the Twins, Detroit was struggling to feign mediocrity in the league, and put up at least some competitive effort against Minnesota. Despite a much-needed Javier Baez home run, the Tigers ended up falling 9-3.

But that's not what everyone remembers from Friday night.

During the game, two small dots could be seen running out onto the field about halfway through the game, and security soon followed. It was two field-stormers.

From far away, most would have assumed it's just another drunk guy and his buddy daring each other to hit the field, and see who could last the longest before being caught by security. But it turns out, that wasn't the case.

The field-stormers were two young children, somewhere between 10 and 13 years old probably, and did a pretty good job of outrunning security... for a bit. Eventually, as most are, they were caught, and brought to an exit on the field to face their punishment.

But somehow, this felt different. Whereas normally, the perpetrators are taken off mostly unseen, the police, for some reason, made a SHOW of taking these two kids through the stands, HANDCUFFED.

The looks on their face says it all.... "Oh S**t... mom's gonna kill us."

For reference, storming the field at an MLB Stadium can draw a fine of up to $5,000, and even some jail time depending on the nature of the field-storm. But I have NEVER seen any field-stormer handcuffed before.

Was this too far for these kids?
