An 80-year-old woman in Michigan has decided to remain anonymous after winning a lottery jackpot in the most unsuspecting way possible. The Barry County woman played the $300,000,000 Extraordinaire second chance game. Unfortunately, she wasn't lucky enough to win or so she thought, turns out she had a second chance.

She was selected in a random drawing that took place May 6 for people who scanned non-winning lottery tickets. She took home a $100,000 cash purse from the bizarre event and didn't believe the lottery when they called her and figured it was a scam. It was only when she checked her email later that she realized it was real, and she won a prize.
