President Trump May Pardon Convicted Michigan Men
President Donald Trump is known for saying and doing some outrageous things while in office. This wasn't a reputation he gained from being president either, he is known for his antics before and between his presidential terms. Some of these things have gained him supporters based upon how he reacted while others are not fond of him. Either way, he likes to exercise his power when he can.

One of the questionable actions he uses are his presidential pardons, which basically nullify any convictions someone has from a particular judicial case. His most notable pardons are those of the January 6th rioters and Kayne West, which have both caused some major division amongst the people in their opinions of the president.
President Donald Trump isn't slowing down with the pardons either and this time he has Michigan in the headlines. A couple years ago, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer was in the crosshairs of some men who wanted to kidnap her due to her response during the COVID-19 pandemic. They plotted to kidnap the Governor and overthrow the state government using violence and force.
President Trump Might Pardoning Michigan Men Convicted Of Kidnapping Plot
The group is full of men who used to serve in the military and call themselves the Wolverine Watchmen. 6 of those men that are tied to this group were tried in federal courts and the other 8 men involved were tried in state courts. Of the 6 in federal court, two were acquitted, 2 had a hung jury and were found guilty later, and two took a plea deal to testify.
In the state trials 3 men were found guilty, two more pleaded guilty while the last 3 were acquitted. All of the men that were convicted received different charges and sentencing but that's not where this story ends. President Donald Trump has said he will consider pardoning the men that were involved in the plot against Governor Gretchen Whitmer.
He said it has come across his desk and he will take a look at it; upon first glance he believes the trial was somewhat of a railroad job. He thinks that this was mostly a misunderstanding of some men who were drinking and said some stupid things.
