Every year, reptile owners and trainers bring their various reptiles to the wonderful city of Kalamazoo for interested parties to observe. This is a great hands-on experience for those that are interested in owning, handling, training, or caring for reptiles as they grow older.

When thinking of reptiles, animals such as snakes, frogs, and lizards are the first to come to mind, but there are more than just those kinds of reptiles that exist. Animals such as crocodiles and turtles are a part of the reptile family as well.

Sunday, March 26th, the annual Reptile Expo will take place in Kalamazoo at 2900 Lake Street, better known as the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds. Kalamazoo County is inviting several reptile owners, veterinarians, trainers, and other professionals involving reptiles to showcase their friends with the people of Kalamazoo.

There will be many booths spread around the building as they will have all different kinds of snakes such as cobras, boas, and garden snakes to less risky reptiles like iguanas, turtles, and lizards. The expo will start at 10 a.m. and will go until 3 p.m. but will have other dates throughout the year.

They will return to the Kalamazoo County Fairgrounds for the Reptile Expo on April 23rd, May 20th, June 24th, July 15th, August 19th, September 16th, October 21st, November 4th, and December 16th. There will also be multiple reptile and exotic animal vendors and groomers present to answer questions about all your exotic pet needs.
