Rising Country Star To Perform Lions Thanksgiving Halftime Show In Michigan
The Thanksgiving Day football traditions have been going on in Michigan for decades and it's something that many men, women, and children look forward to every year. There are families that get together and start the day with breakfast and thankfulness, which leads into all the fun. Next comes the family football game, dinner, and then it's time to watch football.
Families in Detroit know this tradition all too well as they are one of the NFL franchises that always plays on the November Holiday.
They are used to seeing fans pile inside the stadium to cheer on the Detroit Lions and hopefully watch them bite a turkey leg after claiming a victory. Some years they are blessed and other years they are on the outside looking in.
This year should be a year for the books as the Thanksgiving Day Football traditions will continue and the Detroit Lions will be in the limelight again. They will be taking on the Chicago Bears at Ford Field in Downtown Detroit at 12:30 pm on the Thursday holiday. Since they are the first game of the day, they will be setting the tone of the rest of the Thanksgiving football activities.
Every year, they like to bring in some form of entertainment for the Thanksgiving Day halftime show. They have had a number of talented celebrities grace the stage and this year; they are asking another popular artist to dazzle the crowd. The Detroit Lions will have hit country artist Shaboozey perform their halftime show.
He has some tough shoes to fill as Jack Harlow was last year's special guest, but the 6-time Grammy-nominated artist should feel right on home on the stage at Ford Field. He is expected to perform his hit single "A Bar Song (tipsy)" among others of his favorites.
