All Ohio Drivers Will Be Ticketed For Wearing THIS In April

We’re all looking forward to the solar eclipse happening on April 8 in just a few weeks. In preparation for the eclipse, it’s important not only to wear the proper safety glasses that are approved to be used while looking at an eclipse but to also practice, intelligent thinking while doing so.

That being said, there is a warning that was recently put out by Missouri Department of Transportation, that is not cutting the human race any slack when it comes to a special event like this. It’s important that when you are traveling on the road, no matter what, make sure your vision is not impaired whether it be through substance or other reasons.

Eclipse Glasses Impair Your Vision

One of those reasons might be wearing your eclipse glasses while driving. First off, if you planned on watching the eclipse while driving on the road instead of just pulling off to the side and looking at it, you should probably have your license revoked.

But that being said, the last thing you want to do is have impaired vision while driving with your eclipse glasses and then take a break from that impaired vision to look up into the sky at the sun while going 70 miles an hour on the highway.

It’s just not a smart practice, so just know that if you are wearing your eclipse glasses while driving, Ohio police will most likely pull you over for having impaired vision. It’s not worth the ticket and possibly hurting yourself or somebody else.

Make sure that if you’re on the road during the eclipse you pull over to the side enjoy the eclipse take your glasses off and get back into your car.
