With the exciting news of the Kalamazoo State Theatre possibly opening in 2026 ahead of its 100-year anniversary in 2027, many people are excited for the return of the staple music venue.
But it wasn’t just music that filled the halls of this historical Michigan landmark, but many other forms of entertainment.
In the past, the Kalamazoo State Theatre has been host to stand-up comedians, discussion panels, like Ancient Aliens, as well as viewing parties for holiday movies like National Lampoon‘s Christmas Vacation and the Rocky Horror Picture Show.
The new owners expressed that they have a very eclectic taste in music and entertainment, but the big thing that they wanted to know was what do the people want to see come to the Kalamazoo State Theatre once they reopen?
