It should come as no surprise that nearly 122,000 cases of Gatorade sold in 37 states are being recalled.

There are four different varieties listed in the brand-new recall that was recently released by the FDA, which includes 28-ounce bottles of Gatorade, this time for undeclared yellow 6 and/or yellow five ingredients in Gatorade lemon-lime, Gatorade lemon-lime zero, Gatorade orange, and Gatorade orange zero.

The FDA has announced that 122,021 cases of 28-ounce Gatorade bottles have to be recalled since they did not declare the dyes used in making the product, which is technically a class II recall.

They say the product may cause temporary or medically irreversible adverse health consequences, which makes sense if certain people are allergic to yellow 6 or yellow five, and it hasn’t been declared on those bottles.

The affected product was sold in the following states:

Alaska, Alabama, Arkansas, Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Jersey, New Mexico, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Washington and Wisconsin.

You can add this new recall to the growing list of all the recalls that we’ve had here in Michigan this year. Here are those products:
