The Kalamazoo Gospel Mission has been a helpful organization for the Kalamazoo community for decades as they were founded in 1933. They began operations as a depression-era soup kitchen but has now turned their focus to helping the mentally ill, homeless, and recovery communities. Everything they do is faith based and is coupled with ministry work.

Kalamazoo Gospel Ministries serves men, women and children in crisis, offering emergency shelter, food, addiction recovery and a faith-based approach to healing. With a mission rooted in Christ, KGM strives to restore hope and provide tangible support to those in need in the Kalamazoo area.
