Kalamazoo’s Silent Day Party: Turn Up Or Step In Love
Parties and concerts aren't for everyone, the loud music, the jumping around, the dancing, the large crowds, the drinks, and the countless other factors that exist during a traditional party could be a little much. Obviously, you never have to partake in anything you don't want to but parties could be more appealing if you could have more control over the environment.
The concept of Silent concerts and parties has continued to grow as it allows for more individual control of your experience and networking opportunities at these events. The most significant piece to factor in is the removal of traditional amp speakers and asking all attendees to use Bluetooth headphones instead. This concept is coming to Kalamazoo next weekend for a party but with a slight twist.
Sunday, April 16th from 5 pm-9 pm multiple DJs will be set up inside the Dormouse Theatre in Kalamazoo, Michigan as partygoers will file in ready to jam into the night. With multiple DJs, the vibe will always be right considering if you don't like a song you can switch to another DJ for a different song.
Tickets, Rules, Attractions
This is an event that is open to those that are 21 years of age or older as alcohol will be available to purchase and the only things you are asked to bring are yourself, good energy, an open mind, and proper identification. Essentially, just prove yourself to be there and come ready to have a good time.
Tickets are still available and there are some sweet deals going on. They have a 24-hour GA $15 flash sale going on right now along with a 2-for-1 GA 24-hour $25 flash sale that will end tomorrow. Other than that tickets are normally $25 a piece and they will be available the day of for $35.
There will be two different channels available to vibe to, there will be the blue channel which will be Trap music, which we are used to hearing in hip hop and rap while the blue channel will be R&B music to hit the soul and make you fall in love. Along with drinks and the opportunity to take your headphones off and engage with those around you are the most attractive parts of the party.
Below is a promo video that will give you an idea of what the vibe looks like at a Silent Party involving R&B and Trap music.
