Now, there is another live music series looking to draw the people of Kalamazoo to downtown. Lake Michigan Credit Union announced they would be hosting the "Lunchtime Live" series this summer. The series will be held in Bronson Park in Downtown Kalamazoo every Friday until the end of August.

Downtown Kalamazoo Welcomes Return of Lunchtime Live

Lunchtime Live will be each Friday from 11:30a-1:30pm and will be a free event that is open to everyone. There will be food trucks lined up on South Street and vendors throughout the park. Below is the list of performers for the summer:

  • June 13: Pinter Whitnick
  • June 20: The Kennedy Affair
  • June 27: Carrie McFerrin
  • July 11: The Dirty Rain Revelers
  • July 18: Kanola Band
  • July 25: Dylan Tolbert
  • Aug. 1: Y-Not
  • Aug. 8: K-Nein
  • Aug. 15: Youth and Teen Talent Show
  • Aug. 22: Shelagh Brown Band
  • Aug. 29: Jacob McLeod

The August 15th event will be different than the others as there will be local teens and youth performing on the Rotary stage. They will be singing, rapping, dancing, comedy, and other performances. In addition, there will be an entrepreneur fair for young vendors to showcase their businesses and the products they have to offer.

Summer 2025 is shaping up to be a busy summer in Downtown Kalamazoo and now you have two opportunities to enjoy live music, vendors, and great food.
