As many of the materials needed to manufacture cars here in America comes from foreign companies, the lack of sales and the rising prices have put a huge dent into their pockets. Also, foreign companies are having trouble selling cars here in America as the tariffs have caused the prices to jump as well, forcing many Americans to pause their hunt for a new vehicle.

Michigan is one of the many states that is seeing tons of impact from these tariff decisions as tons of people have lost their jobs and Canada has made threats in response to the tariffs. As all of this is going on, one Michigan car manufacturer decided to take matters into their own hands and try to generate some revenue.

Ford Fights Against Tariffs With New Ad Campaign

Ford is one of the biggest car companies in the entire United States and is known for starting the automotive industry here in America. The Michigan based company has found itself in some trouble with the new tariffs, but they have released a new ad campaign that may help them fight against the rising cost and falling revenue.

Ford is launching "From America, For America" which will offer the "A Plan" employee pricing option to customers on most of Ford 2024 and 2025 model year vehicles through June 2. In addition, they will be extending their program offering a free home charger and complimentary installation to those people who purchase or lease an all-electric vehicle until June 30.

F-150 Raptors, 2025 Super Duty pickups, Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator large SUVs and Ford fleet vehicles will be exempt from the deal. The ad campaign will run in traditional print media advertisements, television spots and social media. They are hoping the high inventory numbers and great deals will bring people in the door and offset some of the losses expected to come when the tariffs hit.
