Hotel and motel workers around the world have some of the wildest jobs as they experience a wide variety of things during their shifts. I mean, we can start with the random fights, prostitution, and other illegal acts that go down inside of rooms, in the lobby, and out in the parking lot.

There is an infinite number of possibilities as to what could make a day crazy at a hotel or motel as there are so many different people coming in and out. If you ask me, hotel and motel workers could make a podcast or television series about the things they go through, and the ratings would soar through the roof.

This motel worker in Michigan easily has one of the wildest stories to tell. A cleaner at the Pine River Motel in Cheboygan, Michigan made an interesting call to police after discovering a surprise under one of the beds. While cleaning one of the rooms, the worker stumbled across a 3-foot alligator, named Wally, snuggled against a baseboard heater.

He said that they have commonly found things like jewelry, wrappers, electronics, and other small items like that but never an alligator. Later, the police were able to uncover the origins of the alligator as a man had been traveling and showing exotic animals at elementary school assemblies.

The man was from Detroit and said that Wally went missing and after not finding the gator he headed back home. The police called the man, and he returned to retrieve the gator. Police say the gator was docile and were even able to get him to take a picture with two officers.

The motel supervisor said the gator was a "pretty friendly guy" that posed no threat but did say that had he known of the gator's presence he wouldn't have let those guests stay in that room.
