Southwest Michigan Wineries Bring Millions Into Michigan
Michigan is known for its love for beer and the many amazing breweries that are producing some world class beer. People from all over the world have traveled to several different cities in Michigan just for beer and many of those beers are available worldwide. Although beer may be one of the state's calling cards, it surely isn't the only one.

Michigan is also known for apples, cherries, and of course the automotive industry. Now, there is another industry that the Mitten state is starting to make a name for themselves, the wine industry. There are hundreds of wineries spread out across the state of Michigan and a large portion of them are in Southwest Michigan.
There are over 20 wineries in Berrien County alone and many of them sit along what has been tabbed the Lake Michigan Shore Wine Trail. The large saturation of wineries has become a tourist attraction drawing in thousands of people a year. The wine industry is expected to make the state of Michigan over $9 billion this year and Southwest Michigan is a large part of that.
