Will Michigan Be Affected By Massive Fast Food Location Closures?

Fast Food has become a way of life for us here in America as we are constantly on the go, don't have the energy, or don't care to cook. Settling for an easy and relatively cheap meal is much easier when you have a million and 1 things to check off your to-do list. There are dozens of fast food chains in America, but just like everything else, no two things are created the same.

Firstly, different types of fast food restaurants serve different types of cuisine but there are also regional limitations on fast food. What you may find for fast food options in the South could be different than the East Coast, which is different from the West Coast, the Midwest, and other parts of the country. This also means there are several different opinions on fast food which creates stigmas and doubts in certain chains. There's another change falling prey to these stigmas as they are closing tons of locations, will Michigan be affected?

Do you know how people will post on social media wondering who's keeping certain fast food or other restaurants in business? I think they are hilarious posts but what's funnier is that most of the time they are talking about me as I often eat at the restaurant they are referring to. Another one of those meme restaurants has run into some trouble and has started to shutter doors at locations across the country, can you guess which one it is?

It's Arby's, and yes, I am one of the people who is keeping Arby's open for the time being. Arby's is owned by Inspire Brands which also owns household names like Baskin Robbins, Buffalo Wild Wings, Dunkin, Jimmy Johns, and SONIC, but they don't own all of the Arby's locations across the country. Some of them are owned by Miracle Restaurant Group, which has filed for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy.

So far, Michigan has been spared as none of the locations here are owned by Miracle Restaurant Group but that doesn't mean it couldn't happen in the Mitten state. The only way to avoid that is to continue to visit Arby's to keep cash flowing through the business.  They own locations across Illinois, Indiana, Texas, Louisana, and Mississippi and have started to close locations in these states.

So to make a long answer short, no, Michigan will not be affected by the mass closing of Arby's locations across the country at this time.
