Somebody in Kalamazoo is selling a kit that can transform your pontoon boat into a pirate ship.

For just $300, you could be living the pirate life, as a man in Kalamazoo is selling a custom-made kit that can transform any pontoon boat to look similar to the Black Pearl, at least on a budget.

The kit includes the name Black Pearl Necklace with two seemingly large black pearl necklaces decorating the back. If you’ve ever had the fantasy of sailing the high seas of Gold, Lake of the swashbuckling Shores of Morrow Lake, this kit doesn’t look like it would be too hard to assemble.

If you were able to put it together, you could eventually call yourself the first pirate in Kalamazoo’s history. At least one that rides around in a pirate ship. The listing on Facebook Marketplace has it listed for 300, and although it's in used but good condition, this seems like a pretty fun way to spend the rest of your summer:

Custom-made pirate ship kit for a pontoon boat. This set includes black fabric hull covers, decorative PVC cannons with wooden frames, thick nautical ropes, a mast with black sails, and skull-and-crossbones flags. The kit has a spyglass prop and a plush monkey mascot. It is designed for easy assembly to transform a standard pontoon for themed events.

I would have to imagine the person selling it was the one who made it to begin with, and they did a pretty solid job of assembling this kit.

This is her way of doing it, as she also sets up a similar, and as she describes, possibly more elaborate, Christmas decoration display every year as well.
