Michigan’s Mac and Cheese Festival Returns To Kalamazoo
The ooey-gooey richness of mac and cheese can never be replicated as this is one of the few dishes that can qualify as both an entree and a side dish. Everyone makes their mac and cheese a little different but there is something about the dairy and noodle combination that makes my taste buds go wild. I honestly don't know too many people who don't like mac and cheese unless they don't like cheese or are lactose intolerant. Mac and cheese are so good that many who are lactose intolerant just deal with the consequences and enjoy the delicacy.
Michigan is a state that knows how to celebrate the goodness of so many things while also appreciating all of the cultures that exist within the borders. Mac and cheese is one of the ways that we all bond as most of us enjoy the dish which is where we find common ground but our cultural flare creates opportunities to learn and bond. Imagine taking all of that together in one place, you can't tell me it wouldn't be fun. Those in the Southwest Michigan area are going to get a chance to enjoy this ambiance as the Mac and Cheese Festival Returns to Kalamazoo.
The Mac and Cheese Festival is returning to Homer Stryker Field at Mayor's Riverfront Park in Kalamazoo Michigan. Back in 2019, Homer Stryker Field hosted Michigan's first and largest Mac and Cheese Festival, now it has started to come back to Kalamazoo year after year for the celebration. This year's Mac and Cheese Festival will be on June 29th, from 4:30 - 8:00 PM with VIP access from 3:00 - 4:30 PM.
