Many people fell in love with The Office because of the characters and their development that occurs throughout the seasons. Dwight Schrute, Michael Scott, and Jim Halpert were among the fan favorites during the original airings as there are hundreds of memes and clips that have been generated from some of their best moments.

Many people were sad when The Office was finally discontinued and there wouldn't be any more new episodes being released. This led many people to begin to look for streaming options and other shows to fulfill the void that would be left behind when the Office stopped running.

The Office Spin Off Show Stationed Close To Michigan

There have been calls for some sort of spin-off to The Office for years to come and for so long, everyone was told it's in the cards, but we haven't found out how to make it happen. Well, this has finally been figured out and there is a spin-off for The Office coming to the people soon.

Those of us in Michigan are closer to this phenomenon than many other people in the country. No, we're not special we just happen to be located closely to where the spin-off will be based. The Office spin off will be called "The Paper" and will be following the staff of a Toledo newspaper. The show will premiere on Peacock in September and Oscar Nunez will reprise his role from The Office.

Domhnall Gleeson, who's known for his work with the Harry Potter series will be the publisher of the newspaper as the show will also star Chelsea Frei, Melvin Gregg, Gbemisola Ikumelo, Alex Edelman, Ramona Young and Tim Key. Greg Daniels, creator of both The Office and The Paper said this:

The newspaper’s budget is low, the reporters are untrained and they simply don’t know what they’re doing.

Toledo, Ohio isn't ready for what The Paper is about to bring but maybe those of us in Michigan may be able to help. Get ready for the premiere by watching the trailer below:
