New Nintendo Prices May Shock Michigan Gamers

Since the early 80s, Nintendo has provided the world with some of the best video games and consoles. From the first consoles they created, like the NES, Game Boy, and Nintendo 64, to the newer systems like the GameCube, the Wii, Wii U, and the most recent, the Switch. Mario, Donkey Kong, and many other games have been fun for decades, but they have to adjust just like everything else.

Nintendo announced that they would be designing and eventually releasing a sequel to the Switch, which they would call the Nintendo Switch 2. The Switch 2 will be a larger device and a larger display but will still use an LCD screen instead of the rumored OLED screen. They have incorporated the "C" button which will be for live voice chat, which is a new feature.

It is still expected to take about 3 hours to fully charge, but is expected to last anywhere from 2 to 6.5 hours. The new Joy-con controllers will be larger than the previous model and the buttons will be larger as well, to help out those with bigger hands. There is a new rounded and smoother design for the dock that comes with the Nintendo Switch 2.

Nintendo recently announced that the price of the Nintendo Switch 2 would not be affected by the new tariffs and inflation, and will be available for the same price as the Nintendo Switch, $449.99. The Mario Kart World bundle is also remaining at  $499.99, while games like Mario Kart World and Donkey Kong Bananza will remain at their respective prices of $80 & $70.
